Hello Stephanie,
I can’t think of a more magical place to celebrate your wedding anniversary. We took our son on his first trip to Walt Disney World Resort when he was almost 6 months old and it was so much fun!
Check out the
Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page - a lot of the tips can be useful for babies too. The Disney Parks Blog has also put together a list of
Height Requirements for Attractions at Walt Disney World, which will help you plan which attractions to experience as a family.
Because nap time is likely still a part of your baby’s routine, I would recommend staying at a resort along the Monorail line in order to be able to get to and from Magic Kingdom Park more quickly, without having to take your baby out of his stroller! I particularly enjoyed being able to walk to and from the Magic Kingdom when we stayed at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you want a special splurge for your anniversary, I would recommend staying in a Theme Park View room, if you can. Even if your baby can’t stay up late to watch the fireworks, you’ll still be able to see them from your room!
I would make dining plans according to the things that you and your husband like, even if that means dining in a fancier restaurant on your anniversary! As I've previously said to another
Guest, babies are welcome in every restaurant in Walt Disney World, including the Signature Restaurants!
I know you probably have more questions - don't hesitate to come back and visit us!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
