    Hello! My husband & I are taking our 10 yr old son to WDW this Nov. As a family of 3, I am wondering how to ride the rides - will my husband and I need to take turns riding by ourselves? Of is there another option? Thx!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brandie! 

    I am so excited about your visit! You chose to arrive during my favorite time of year. Early November, the resort begins to get ready for the most wonderful time of the year so you’ll get to enjoy some of the stunning Christmas decorations and even the most merriest of Christmas parties, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, if you choose to attend. Hooray for Christmas!

    Brandie, you will have several options so everyone in your family can enjoy the magic on their wish list during your visit. Your 10-year old will likely be able to enjoy most every attraction at the theme parks, depending on how tall he is. When you browse attractions, you can filter by height and that will give you an idea of which attractions you can add to your must do list. If there are any attractions he is not ready for just yet, you can take advantage of the Rider Switch service, which will allow you to take turns riding without him. 

    Be sure to check out all the super fun tween-approved attractions you won’t want your mousketeer to miss during your stay. I have a tween boy of my own and on the top of his must do list is Flight of Passage inside Pandora- The World of Avatar, Expedition Everest; both at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the brand-new Slinky Dog Dash inside Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
