My husband and I are taking our 9 yr old son for Thanksgiving. We decided to wait to celebrate all our birthdays until at Disney. Any suggestions on something to celebrate all of our birthdays at once?

    Hi Cathy!

I think that what you're doing is a fabulous idea!  You can all get your complimentary birthday buttons when you arrive at your resort or the first park you visit.  My family and I did that once and then made a bet as to who got the most "happy birthdays" from the Castmembers.  Winner got a $50 souvenir of their choice.  Man, was that a blast!  The things we did to get those buttons noticed will forever be engraved in my memory.

You can contact Disney's Floral & Gifts at to order an in-room celebration!  Surprise the family with a room decorated by Mickey himself!  You can order a specialty cake with whatever theme you choose, and have it delivered to a special dinner.  You can also have it delivered to your room.  They will set it up on a table with a nice tablecloth and utensils.  Please give the cake specialists a few days notice.  You can call them at (407)827-2253.

Happy birthday to all of you!  Have a magical celebration!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
