My husband and I are taking our 7yr old daughter and 12 yr old son to Disney Dec. 22- Dec. 28 for the first visit. Will we be able to get our park tickets when the park opens and enjoy the whole day at the park or do we have to wait until official time?

    Hi Arin,

I'm hoping that I've deciphered your question correctly. If not, please stop back again so that you get the information that you need.

I gather that you are arriving on December 22 and wish to visit a theme park on that day. Official check in time is at 3 p.m. at the Walt Disney World hotels.

You may head directly to your WDW resort to pick up your tickets and check in as soon as you arrive Walt Disney World. While official check in time is 3 p.m., you will be given your tickets (if you've booked a package) so that you can head to a park. In fact, if your room is ready, you'll also be given that information as well. If not, you can head out for fun in the parks and your hotel will notify you when your room is ready for occupancy.

Your resort will also store luggage while you head to a park.

    Enjoy your Disney vacation!
