My husband and I are taking our 2.5 yr old daughter to Disney for her first trip during Easter. I see on dining plans they have information for kids ages 3-9 and 10+ but not for toddlers. Do we purchase a DDP for her or is she free?

    Hi Joanna!

How exciting that you're about to take your Little Princess on her first trip to Walt Disney World!

Children under the age of 3 do not need to purchase a Disney Dining Plan.
At Character and buffet style dining, even at Table Service, a la carte locations, your daughter can eat from your plate and that of your husband.

At Quick Service dining locations, again, you may opt to share your meal purchased through the Disney Dining Plan with her, or, opt to order her a Kids Meal and pay cash or charge to the room.

When making Dining Reservations Online, be sure to reserve your table for 3 Guests, however you will not be charged for you daughter unless you order her her own, a la carte meal.

I hope this information is helpful to you Joanna.
If you'd like additional dining tips or recommendations, please don't hesitate to write me back. I'd love to assist you further and look forward to hearing from you again soon!

Wishing you a Magical time as you look forward to your spring visit to Walt Disney World!
