Hi, My husband & I, we are taking our 2.5 year old son & 4.5 year old daughter to Disney the end of Feb. 2014. This will be our first time- Where would suggest to stay that will either allow my parents to stay with us or next to us and still allow

    Hi there, Danielle!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question! I'm sure you are so excited to be planning your very first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

One of my favorite things to do on a Disney vacation is to stay in a large Resort room with my family and extended family! It's so much fun to sit together each night and talk about all of the wonderful experiences from your day! Some of my favorite memories are from when those conversations that took place each night.

As you may know, there are several categories of Resorts at Walt Disney World. My first recommendation is Disney's Art of Animation Resort from the Value Resort category. This is Disney's newest Resort and is home to the largest pool on Walt Disney World property! Here, they have Family Suites in Cars, Finding Nemo and The Lion King themes that each sleep up to 6 people. There is a separate master bedroom with a full bathroom attached. There is also a second full bathroom, a double-size sleeper sofa and a double-size table bed out in the main part of the suite. These suites are just gorgeous and would be perfect for all 6 of you! You can pick based on your kids' favorite Characters!

There are also several Resorts that have either one, two or three bedroom Villas where the grown-ups can have their own bedrooms. I'll be honest, I love every single one of them for different reasons! You can also book two completely separate rooms and request them to be connecting. Of course, there wouldn't be any guarantees, but the Cast Members will do their best to honor your request.

I sure hope this helps, Danielle! Please let us know if we can be of further assistance as you are planning!

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
