Hi, Cherie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm so glad you stopped by to see us today with this great question. Sometimes when taking a little Mouseketeer to the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time, it's nice to know that you can bring some helpful items along with you. After all, keeping the little one happy throughout the day makes for a much more pleasant vacation!
The first thing I suggest is checking out the
Park Rules & Regulations page on the Walt Disney World website. About halfway down the page you'll find a list of items you
can't bring into the Theme Parks. So what about the things that are allowed? You are welcome to bring your own snacks and bottled drinks with you, as long as they're not in glass containers. You can also tote a small cooler - just check the dimensions to make sure your cooler is the proper size (and it can't be on wheels). Also, you can bring your own stroller - a big help if your little guy starts to fade during the day - or
rent a stroller in the Parks.
Cherie, while your making plans, be sure to take a look at Disney's
Planning Guide for Parents of Preschool Kids & Little Ones. It's chock-full of things to do with your little guy! Plus, the Disney Parks Blog produced this handy
guide to height requirements so your family can hit the rides with confidence!
I hope this helps you plan a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Cherie. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
