Hi, Ylina!
Welcome, and thanks for your question about exploring the
Disneyland Resort with little ones. I have a 7-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter, so I know firsthand what it’s like to navigate the theme parks with two little ones and their differing interests!
I think you’ll be pleased by how many attractions you can enjoy as a family. If there is no minimum height requirement for an attraction or it’s listed as being for “any height,” then it’s safe for your youngest child to ride with you! Some favorite attractions my whole family likes to experience together in Disneyland Park are “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight and Jungle Cruise. Almost every attraction in Fantasyland is toddler-friendly! Check out the complete theme park
attractions list online. It can be sorted by age interest, height requirement and thrill level. You’ll find there’s something for everyone!
For those rides not suitable for your little one, you may want to take advantage of the
Rider Switch program, which allows Guests with children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement to take turns experiencing attractions. You or your husband can ride first while the other adult waits with one or both of your kids. You’ll then "swap" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting in the regular stand-by queue all over again. The loading procedure can vary, so see a Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction for specific instructions.
I hope this helps help you plan, Ylina and that you have a pixie dust-packed visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your young Mouseketeers!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
