My husband and I are taking our 8 and 14 year old daughters to Disney World for spring break. The were given Disney gift cards for Christmas. Will they be able to use them at the park or do we have to purchase Disney Dollar. The gift cards are $250 each.

Hi Gwendolyn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sure sounds like your kids are pretty lucky to get the gift of spending money for Christmas! In my opinion that is the perfect gift.

There is no need to trade in the Disney Gift Cards for Disney Dollars. Disney Gift Cards are widely accepted throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. They can be used in the Theme Parks, Water Parks, Disney Springs, and Walt Disney World Resorts. They can be used towards merchandise, recreation, dining, and much more!

I hope you have an Unforgettable vacation!
