My husband and I are taking our 4 and 6 year old boys to the Magic Kingdom for one day only in October. What time do the fireworks start and will they be every night of the week? What time do we need to arrive, and where do we go to watch them? Thank you!

Greetings, Meeghan, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Visiting Magic Kingdom Park during October will present you with an abundance of seasonal events, not to mention the lavish Halloween décor!

Meeghan, please consult our Magic Kingdom Park Hours to see when Happily Ever After fireworks show will be presented. This theme park also offers Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select nights in October, which is a separately ticketed special event beginning at 7:00 PM. If you decide to attend that special event party, get ready to enjoy Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show.

My two favorite viewing areas for the  fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom Park are from Casey’s Corner, or from the second floor platform of the Walt Disney World Railroad – Main Street, U.S.A. The railroad station would also give you the advantage of a smoother and more expeditious exit after the fireworks show, when most Guests leave.

May I offer Disney’s Planning for Kids resource containing suitable suggestions for attractions, experiences, sample Theme Park Itineraries, a Parents’ Guide which you can download and bring with you, and much more.

We hope this information is helpful, Meeghan, and we wish you a most magical visit!
