My husband and I are taking our two daughters (who will be 4 years and 11 months at the time of our vacation) to Disney World in May. Will my youngest need her magic band to enter rides? Should I wear hers along with my own? I doubt she'll keep it on.

Hello Jessica!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Guests under the age of 3 are considered special guests of my pal, Mickey Mouse.  In addition to your 11 month old not needing a ticket to enter a Walt Disney World theme park, your child also wont need a MagicBand on to ride rides or enter the FastPass+ queue with you.  I know I have seen little babies wearing them around, but it is absolutely not necessary.

I love visiting Walt Disney World in May, you are going to have a great time!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask us.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
