My husband and I are taking our two boys to WDW in September 2011 and we are super excited. This will be their first time. I was just wondering what the weather is like in Florida in mid to late September? Thanks!

Hello, Hope! Welcome to the Moms Panel! I am also very excited to hear that you and your family will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort area this September! It really seems like such a long time until your vacation rolls around, but September will be knocking on your door before you know it, so let's get started! In my personal experience, September has been a great time to travel to WDW. Shorts were always great during the day and a light sweater could get us through the night. Of course, with weather, you never what to expect. I would definitely check the weather forecast one week prior to your trip in order to get a general idea. Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel. Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up. We are always ready to help our guests plan the vacation of a lifetime. May your vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories! ~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
