My husband and I are taking a trip to WDW in Sept. for 12 days. We chose this time for less crowds, but we are wondering if a lot of attractions, restaurants, etc. close early. We want to visit the Boardwalk, the parks, have leisurely dinners - do it all!

Hi Tabitha! The hours for September of this year are not released yet, but going by past years, Magic Kingdom and Epcot's World Showcase should be open till 9pm, with Hollywood Studios and Epcot's Future World closing at 7pm and Animal Kingdom closing at 5pm, so this year should be similar. The only thing you'll have to watch for is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party nights at Magic Kingdom, which would lead to early park closing (6pm) and re-opening at 7pm for the special ticketed event. The restaurants of Boardwalk and Downtown Disney Marketplace and West Side should be open til 10pm though so you'll have some more strolling time (one of my favorite parts of visiting the World at night!). In addition, the common areas of Downtown Disney Marketplace are until 1:00am and West Side until 2:00am.

I hope that helps with your planning. Check back at the 6 month mark to double check the park hours for September. Have a wonderful time!
