My husband and I are taking our three boys to WDW for the third time. We love it! Last time we celebrated the twins birthday at the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater. This year we want to celebrate somewhere different. Do you have any recommendation for boys?

Hi, John!    My son is a big fan of the Whispering Canyon inside the Wilderness Lodge.   They have really good food, and just enough fun stuff going on (without being over the top) that makes it perfect for kids and adults!  To get to the Wilderness Lodge, you can take a bus from any theme park or Downtown Disney, or take a boat from the Magic Kingdom.  My kids like the boat ride where you get some great views of the Contemporary Resort.

Your boys might also enjoy the 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios.   Again, it has some silly stuff going that make the meal entertaining.   A lot of comfort food is served here - meatloaf, fried chicken, etc.   Big portions, so come hungry!

A third option would be the T-REX Cafe or Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney.  These themed restaurants are a great place for kids with large menu selections and a lot to look at!  There is a second Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom.

Whatever you decide, make sure to make your advance dining reservations by calling (407)WDW-DINE.   I hope your boys' birthday celebration is magical!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
