Hello! My husband and I are taking our one year old on her first Disney trip! It's possible that we will be staying at Shades of Green. If we do, are we able to do the Disney dining plan? Do our tickets we purchase at Shades apply for that? Thanks!!

There are lots of perks to staying at Shades of Green, Amber.  It will definitely provide you with an ideal location from which to experience all Walt Disney World has to offer.  So, too, will you enjoy the gorgeous grounds and excellent value.  Unfortunately, guests of Shades of Green are not able to participate in the Disney dining plan.  The dining plan is only available to guests who book a package that includes both room reservations and admission to the theme parks through Disney.  If the dining plan is important to you, you might consider switching to one of Disney's resort hotels and booking a package to include the dining plan.  Otherwise, perhaps you can put some of your savings from staying at Shades of Green towards dining.  Have a great trip!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
