Hi Christine ~
I'm limited in space so I'm going to hit some highlights but please come back again if you need any other details.
My # 1 park recommendation for toddlers is the Magic Kingdom (MK) and I would plan on 2 days in the MK. Here is a list of
attractions and activities that are good for toddlers in all of the theme parks.
* If your budget will allow it, stay at a resort on the Resort Monorail Line. You'll likely spend a lot of time in the MK and that will give you easy access to your hotel for naps and breaks.
* Go to the parks early when he is at his freshest.
* Take breaks - he'll need time to be free of standing in lines.
* Try to stick to his schedules for meals. Bring your own snacks & drinks to save money & time waiting in line for them.
* Don't plan out every minute. Go at his pace. Let him explore & lead the way. I usually only make 1 dining reservation per day & play the rest of the day by ear.
* Make sure he has some down time away from the parks. Depending on how long you're staying, plan a day (or 1/2 a day) to relax by the pool. Some resorts also have playgrounds.
* Bring something to keep him entertained in line or play games with him while you're waiting.
* If you're in the parks & you see he's had enough, leave. You may not get to do everything, but you'll enjoy everything you do.
* Here are some
stroller tips.
There are some great
activities for toddlers at Downtown Disney.
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
