My husband and I are taking a 4 night cruise in April and I would like to pay for one of the alcohol tastings. Like a wine or tequila tasting. Are those normally done in the evening? I don't want to pay for one, that conflicts with day activities.

Hello Crystal, and welcome back to planDisney!

On our recent cruise, our son-in-law took part in a beer tasting, and it ended up being one of his favorite experiences on board. I’m sure that if you choose one of the beverage tastings, you’ll have a fantastic time, the tastings are both fun and educational.

When your online booking window opens, you’ll be able to check the available times for your chosen tasting before making a payment. This way, you can pick a time that works best for you. On our last sailing, there were tastings scheduled throughout the day, so I’m hopeful you’ll find one that fits your plans. I do recommend booking as soon as possible, as these experiences tend to fill up quickly.

Beyond the tastings, there are so many incredible activities to enjoy onboard. Be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, which is the best way to stay updated on character greetings, family game shows, trivia, and much more. Another great piece of tech I recommend is the DisneyBand+. This ingenious band allows you to enter your stateroom, charge to your room, and check in and out when leaving the ship for your Port Adventures.

    Sea ya real soon!
