My husband and I are taking a 7 night Caribbean cruise to celebrate our 10 year anniversary next April, (April 2016, I know I am WAY ahead of the game in planning) and we intend on having a dinner at Palo's. Is a long gown too dressy? I love dressing up!

    Ahoy, Laryssa!

It's never too early to start planning for your Disney Cruise Line vacation! It just gives you all the more time to shop for the perfect outfits, right?

First, let me start by saying Happy Early Anniversary! What an awesome way to celebrate - with a Disney Cruise. It doesn't get much more celebratory than that! Dining at Palo, one of DCL's adult-exclusive venues, is the perfect plan. With delicious Northern Italian cuisine and fabulous wine pairings, you're in for a romantic dinner with gorgeous ocean views. (We like to make our reservations in the early evening so we can watch the sunset!)

If you want to wear a long dressy gown, your evening at Palo is the place to do it. We had the pleasure of dining in Palo on the Dream last week, and I saw plenty of ladies in lovely gowns at dinner. They have a more upscale dress code, and will welcome you dressed to the nines!

I encourage you to take advantage of the ship's photographers on your special evening. They are available in the lobby each night to take lovely photos with several different backgrounds. You might even have the opportunity to get a picture with Captain Mickey!

I hope this helps with your planning (and shopping!). Please come back and let us know if we can answer any more questions for you as you continue to plan your magical anniversary vacation.

    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
