My husband and I are taking our 13 month old son to Orlando in a few weeks to visit family. We were thinking about going to the Magic Kingdom for a day. Can he go on many of the rides?

Good news, Tarrah!  The Magic Kingdom truly is a magical place, even for the littlest pirates and princesses.  You can click HERE for a handy listing of the attractions that have height restrictions.  Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom offers a plethora of gentle attractions full of familiar characters.  You'll want to start your day off there.  Your son will likely appreciate sights like balloon bouquets and parades as much as he appreciates the attractions.  But one thing I always loved about taking my littlest ones to Disney World was the awe on their faces as we made our way around the park.  Do keep the baby care centers in mind, too.  They're an awesome resource for parents of littles!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
