Me and my husband are taking our little girl to disney for her 1st birthday. Since she is only 12 months old what kind of rides will she be allowed on? I was also wondering if there is anything exciting we can do at disney for her 1st birthday.

    Hi Betsy!

Congrats on your little one's first birthday.  There are loads of rides she can go on.  When my son was 11 months old, I took him on most of the rides with no high/size restrictions.  Just take a look at the ride first and get a feel for whether or not it would be something she'd enjoy.  In addition, while I did use a stroller for my son, I also brought a front carrier with me.  It was easier to use the carrier on rides, so I'd have my hands free for getting in and out of the rides.

As for birthday celebrations, you have plenty of fun options.  I'd recommend breakfast at Chef Mickey's where they always celebrate special occasions.  You can let them know when you check in to eat that you are celebrating a birthday.  You also have the option of ordering a cake if you'd like.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
