Hi Debra!
I experienced four days of
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival last week! I'm still full from all of the delicious dishes I ate. If you are flexible with your days, I highly suggest going during the week. The lines during the weekend were at least double to triple as long. The lines on Thursday, Friday and Monday were only about 5-10 minutes long.
A convenient way to pay for your samplers is to pick up a specialty gift card that attached to your wrist like a bracelet. It's fast and easy when it's your turn to order. My group purchased the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Tasting Sampler and it really worked out well. For $59 plus tax per guest, you get reserved seating for that evening's Eat to the Beat concert, 8 food and beverage entitlements to use at any of the Global Marketplaces and a limited release pin. Some of the food and drink items we were sampling were $8, so it saved us a little money by using our entitlements for those. You can purchase those ahead of time or at the Festival Center at Epcot. There is a limited quantity each day, so it's best to pre-purchase.
Take a look ahead of time at what each Global Marketplace offers. Even print out a copy and mark down the places you want to visit while you are there. This will cut down on your meandering time as well.
Bon appetit!
Leslie
