My husband and I are taking our kids on their first WDW trip in February I want to take my old daughter to the My Disney Girl Perfect Princess Tea Party. My question is, is there anything similar to that for boys that my son could do with his dad? Thanks!

    Hi LeAnn,

Well, there really isn't something quite like the tea party, but there are plenty of options available for a dad and son to do together.  While you and your daughter are at the party, they could rent a sea raycer to ride around the Seven Seas Lagoon together.  If they like gaming, the Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian all have arcades.  To go even further with gaming, DisneyQuest in Downtown Disney has 5 floors of games and activities.

Fishing excursions are available from all three monorail resorts, too.  Another idea is miniature golf with the two locations within WDW.  These are only a few ideas, but I'm going to include a link to Other Recreation that may look inviting for your son and husband.

If your son is a big pirate fan, he may have fun on the Pirate Adventure that sets sell from the Grand Floridian as well as some other areas at WDW.  Children set out to search for hidden treasure and are treated to lunch as well.   However, this is a child only event.
