My Husband and I are taking our kids they will be 10,6 and 3 on our first Disney vacation April 17th -21st. I am not sure where to begin? Does anyone have advice on were to start? I am not sure how i would make reservation for food or what parks to visit?

Hello Nikki, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!

I will give a list of the main decisions to make while planning a Disney vacation.  You can go over these points and ask us other questions.

The first decision is to choose a date and length of stay, which you already have - Easter Weekend.  This weekend is considered holiday season and high season as well - you should expect high crowds at resorts and parks.
To search for dates that may accommodate your needs and interests, I recommend using sites like Touring Plans - that illustrate (with detail) the expected crowds during the year.

Choosing a resort is an important decision that depends on budget and taste.  Each resort category offers different space, layout, comfort and amenities.
Deluxe Resorts and Villas are the only to feature Signature and Character Dining restaurants while also located really close to parks or Downtown Disney.

Take some time to get familiar with each park and its attractions, to have an idea of which your family will enjoy the most.
To your family I would suggest 2 or 3 full days at Magic Kingdom, 1 or 2 full days at Animal Kingdom and 1 day at the other 2 parks.

Water Parks can be experience in half a day each, though some guests like to spend full days.

There are plenty of food options at the parks and resorts for every taste and budget.  It is convenient to get familiar with some restaurants before arriving at your vacation.
It is also recommended to make reservations at most of the table service restaurants you would like to visit.

Thank you for visiting and hope to hear again from you.
