    My husband & I are taking our 3 dd's to Disney for the 1st time in fall 2011. By then they'll be recently turned 6, 4, & 2yrs. I'm looking for as much guidance as possible in planning this vaca. Also, is it more cost effective to stay on or off W

    Yay!! How exciting!!  The Fall there has been in previous years a period of time where the dining plan is free.  There are a few strings attached such as booking through Disney Travel and purchasing a certain number of nights.  It will save you quite a bit.  Your youngest one will still be free, so you will save there.  When I calculate if i am saving money by staying off property, I always calculate gas and parking fees.  I would recommend reading the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and the website allears.net both are great resources that I have used over the years.
