My husband and I are taking our daughters on our first cruise - EVER! we've never even seen the ocean and are so excited. One fear is that there won't be enough to do on the cruise ship for our 9 and 6 yr olds! ADVISE PLEASE!!!

    Hi Katrina,

I can't think of a better way to experience the ocean for the first time than to sail away aboard a Disney Cruise ship!

Let me assure you, if anyone is bored on a Disney Cruise - it's self inflicted boredom.  Each and every day aboard a Disney Cruise ship is jam packed with events and activities for people of all ages!  Every day you will be given a Personal Navigator which is your handy guide to all the events that are happening onboard.  They break out the activities based on ages, type of experience and time of day.  I suggest that you bring a high-lighter for each child to keep track of all the fun events they want to participate in.

Whether it's crafts and games in the Oceaneer Lab, or pool parties, dance parties, bingo, hair braiding, movies, karaoke, trivia, sports, shows....there is something for everyone to enjoy!  For my family it typically isn't a worry about keeping busy, it's the worry of fitting it all in!

Enjoy your cruise, and the FIRST visit to the ocean!
