Hi, there!
Maria, I can't think of a better place to celebrate a special occasion than at the Walt Disney World Resort. You and your family are sure to have a
wild adventure at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as you celebrate your daughter's Kindergarten graduation!
When my family visits the theme parks, we go well prepared with a fully stocked backpack and a cooler filled with drinks and snacks. I'm happy to report that we've never had any trouble experiencing family-friendly attractions together as a family of five, even though we're traveling with some bags in tow.
I recommend either
renting a stroller from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or bringing your own. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and little legs tire easily! Even though your Kindergarten graduate may have long outgrown using a stroller, I'm sure she'll be glad to have a place to rest during your visit. As an added bonus, a stroller provides storage! When we park our stroller to board an attraction, we leave our cooler packed underneath it in the storage basket. While the Walt Disney World Resort is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings, I can tell you that no one has ever tampered with our cooler as we've stepped away from it. As we ride an attraction, my husband keeps our backpack with him and I keep my purse with me. On some attractions, we can comfortably wear these bags with no problem. On others, we place the bags between our legs or even in a storage basket on the ride vehicle. The one instance in the theme parks that we
don't want to keep those bags with us is when we hop on
Kali River Rapids. No one wants to lug around a soaked bag! In that case, we utilize the complimentary lockers that are located across from the attraction entrance. Talk about convenience!
You can also find
small and large lockers available for rent near the entrance of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Please note that lockers are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
Have you heard that
A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King recently re-opened at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park? You won't want to miss this Broadway-style show. Your daughter will just love it!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Maria. I'm wishing you and your family a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
