My husband and I are taking a cruise and one of our port stop is Port Canaveral. We already have park tickets and were wondering the best way to travel round trip. Is there a shuttle service? We would only be in Disney World one day.

    Hi, Jill!

Since you mentioned that Port Canaveral is one of your port "stops," I'm assuming that you are not sailing with Disney Cruise Line. You will definitely need to consider booking a Disney cruise the next time you sail...there really is no equal in my opinion. Since you obviously enjoy the Disney Parks and are an experienced cruiser, can you imagine combining those two vacation experiences? Simply the best.

Okay...now to consider your options of visiting Walt Disney World while you're nearby.  Since you won't be arriving to the Disney port terminal and wouldn't have travel documents that would get you through security, I don't think a Disney motorcoach transfer is an option for you.  Your best bet is to catch a taxi from your terminal or to arrange for a car service in advance.

Our family just returned from a wonderful Disney Dream cruise, and our driver was Bish from Golden Touch Limousine Service.  He was prompt, courteous, personable and knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend him. Should you want to book him ahead of time, you can call him at 321-228-5990. I hope that helps you plan and that you have a wonderful day at the parks.

When you get ready to book a Disney Cruise Line vacation, come back to visit me here and ask another question! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
