Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sallie! How exciting you'll be taking your little princesses on their very first Disney vacation! Do not worry, because we are here to help you get the planning started.
The very first thing I would like you to do is download the
My Disney Experience app. Through this app, you will have control of all of your plans,
FastPass+ selections, dining reservations and other reservations literally in the palm of your hand!
You can get an idea of the attractions available for your daughter by doing some research on the website. I love the flexibility it offers when exploring different options. I'll try to give step-by-step directions on how to do this and will also link some activities that I believe will be helpful.
Once you are on the Walt Disney World website, look for the "Things to do" tab and choose the option called "Attractions". Once there, you will see that all of the available attractions are shown. You will see an option to filter them, you must click on it and select all of the filters that apply to your girls. For example, you can choose to see attractions with "
Small Drops", "
Slow Rides" and "
Water Rides" which in my opinion, would be suitable for them. You could even sort these results by location so that all attractions that match up your search are grouped by Park. It is also possible to filter results according to your little girls' interests, for example, if they love
Disney Princesses and
Frozen characters from the Disney movie, you can also filter those results by choosing the "Interest" tab. Finally, you can also filter attractions by height requirement since some of them do require children to meet a minimum requirement for safety reasons. You can follow the same steps listed above to find results under the "Entertainment" category, simply by filtering by
Character Experiences,
Parades,
Live Entertainment, etc.
Sallie, be sure to check out this link with information about
traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones. You will find a great selection of tips and tricks to help you plan your daughters' first Disney vacation.
Finally, I would like you to consider purchasing
Memory Maker. This very convenient product will host ALL of your pictures and video captured during your vacation and will allow you UNLIMITED downloads of them. Disney's PhotoPass photographers will take care of getting everyone in the picture and will even add magic shots.
I hope this information has been useful to get you started. I wish you and your family a memorable trip, one that you will all remember for years and years to come.
See you real soon,
~ Desiree
