Hi! My husband and I are taking our boy/girl twins to Disney next May for an 8 day stay. They will be 4.5 and it will be our first time! Do you have suggestions on which character dinings would be great for their age? Which ones are musts?! Thanks!

    Hi Mindi,

My kids are 8 and 9 and still love the character meals! There are a few that have been our favorites over the years - I'd recommend making about 3-4 character dining reservations if your kids really like the characters.

    Here are our favorites:

Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios - If your kids still enjoy watching Disney Junior, this is a great option that appeals to both boys and girls.

    'Ohana at the Polynesian
    - Featuring Lilo and Stitch, this is our favorite character breakfast on property.

    Chef Mickey at the Contemporary
    - This is such a classic and features Mickey and Friends.

The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom
    - My kids still love Winnie the Pooh, so this is always a must-do for us.

    The Garden Grill at Epcot
    - We love the fresh food (much of it grown right in the Land Pavilion) at this dinner, which features Chip and Dale.

Be sure to make reservations early, as all of these are popular and do book up. Have a great vacation!
