My husband and I are surprising our two boys (5,9) with a trip this August. We want to get them into the Jedi academy since we've never been able to get them in. Any suggestions or tips to try to get them in this time?? Are there any ages restrictions?

Hi, Christa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Oh my goodness! Your boys are going to have the surprise of a lifetime! I too, plan on signing my kids up for Jedi Training Academy in August! Having never done it myself, I went to my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Donyell for help. She suggested making an Advanced Dining Reservation for as early as possible for Hollywood & Vine, which happens to be the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine breakfast. If you can, try to schedule your breakfast for before Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens, then head straight to the Jedi Training Academy sign-up location, which is near Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular! They will give you a “call back” time which can really be anytime throughout the day but those who sign-up earliest typically have early training times. Keep in mind that all participants MUST be present to sign-up, and showtimes are subject to change or cancellations due to weather. If ever there are no breakfast reservations that suit your needs, I suggest arriving as early as possible, before the Disney Theme Park opens and head straight to the sign-up area.

May The Force be with you and secure a spot, you shall!
