Hi Erin!
I hope you love the
Fort Wilderness Cabins as much as my family has loved them in the past. They have all been recently refurbished and are even better then before with new bedding arrangements and decor. The fully equipped kitchen is great and helps save time and money when budgeting for a vacation.
It is hard to pick just one cabin loop as my favorite. Well, actually I did have a favorite but it was taken over a year ago and made into an RV loop. But there are many other great choices. I prefer a smaller loop as they don't seem to be as busy and it is easier to come and go. Loops 2300 and 2500 are the shortest loops there. Both will have easy access to the internal bus stop. Loop 2500 is closest to the small cabin pool if that is a place you think you will be spending a lot of time at. But the main pool is still a long walk or a short bus ride away.
The loop that is the closest to the Meadows Pool and Trading Post would be Loop 2200. The loop that is closest to the main bus depot at the front of the resort would be Loop 2800. As you can see it really depends on what you want to be closest to and then realize that none of the loops are right next door to many of the amenities. But that is fine since Fort Wilderness runs a very efficient internal bus system and you can get anywhere within a few short minutes.
Guests of Fort Wilderness also have the opportunity to rent a
Golf Cart for their stay. The golf cart gives you freedom to come and go anytime you wish and there is ample parking both at the marina/Pioneer Hall area and the front bus depot area. If you are interested in a golf cart during your stay please be advised that you should reserve one as soon as possible.
Enjoy your Fort stay!
