Hi Moms! My husband and I are staying at Wilderness Lodge 3/3-3/9 and we have an ADR for the Cape May Character breakfast at the same time Epcot opens. What is the best way to get there via Disney transportation and how much time should we allow?

    Hi Meredith!

I just love the Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort. Besides having an awesome array of food, it offers a relaxed atmosphere and a lot time to interact with the Characters! My son and I ate there in August of 2009 and we had an incredible time. It actually was our first Character Breakfast and now we are hooked for life!

I will give you four options to get there with the approximate travel times:

    1. Taxi from the Wilderness Lodge directly to to the Beach Club--this takes around 20 min and costs around $20 with tip, but it is the quickest way if you are pressed for time.

    2. Boat from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom and then a bus from the Magic Kingdom to the Beach Club Resort-this takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour

    3. Bus from the Wilderness Lodge to Epcot and then transfer to a bus going to the Beach Club Resort--this takes about 30-45 min depending on if you do not have to wait long for the next bus to come.

    4. Boat from Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom, then Monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) and transfer to Monorail going to Epcot. At Epcot, take a bus to the Beach Club Resort or enter Epcot and walk to the International Gateway (between United Kingdom and France) and take a Friendship Boat or walk to Beach Club--this is the longest way and could take up to 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get there, but it is a very scenic route.

I hope that your travels to the Cape May Cafe are magical no matter what route you choose to get there!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
