My husband and I will be staying at the WDW Dolphin Resort. I have a confirmation number thru the hotel. But in setting up my park vacation online, it is not accepting that confirmation #. What do I need to do to set up my WDW account?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Vicki! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be. I'm happy to assist you today.

My family has enjoyed several stays at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. As teachers, my husband and I qualify for special educator discounts that are sometimes available. To receive this rate, we call the resort to book and receive a confirmation number that can be linked to our My Disney Experience account; since the resort is not part of the Disney Resorts Collection, it usually takes a full 72 hours for processing. At that point, the number will be accepted on the Walt Disney World website, and you should be able to link the reservation to your account. If you encounter any problems, call the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel directly.

I hope this is helpful, Vicki! I know you'll have a fantastic time on your getaway. You can't beat the location in the EPCOT Resort Area. The merriment of Disney's BoardWalk is just steps from your room, and Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT are a short stroll or boat ride away. You'll be arriving right before the start of Walt Disney World's 50th-anniversary celebration, so be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog and follow planDisney on social media for exciting updates on all the magical happenings coming this fall. We're so happy you'll be part of this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Thanks again for sending your question to us, and we'll see ya real soon!
