My husband and I are staying on property. The couple were going with us staying off property. Can I book dining for them so we can all sit together? Can I book ILL for all of us?

    Hiya, Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney and greetings from a fellow Buckeye –– I'm so glad you've dropped by with a question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  As someone who likes to plan their visits way in advance, I'm excited to hear that you're already planning all the details for your July vacation.  That way, you'll have plenty of time to dream up a visit that's practically perfect in every way!

Although you and your friends won't all be staying in the same location, I've got some great news –– you can absolutely make dining reservations and Individual Lightning Lane selections together as one big group.  To make it happen, you'll just need to make sure that you connect with each Member of your traveling party in your My Disney Experience account.  Here's what you'll need to do:

    1. Together with another Guest, each person will need to open up the My Disney Experience mobile app on their phone and sign in using their My Disney Experience account credentials.
    2. Tap the three lines in the bottom-right corner and select "My Profile" from the menu.
    3. While one person taps on "Show My Linking Code", the other person will need to tap "Friends & Family List".
    4. Whoever selected "Friends & Family List" will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Add a Guest".  Next, choose "Scan their linking code" and scan the code that your friend should still have open on their own screen.
    5. Follow the onscreen prompts to finish linking your two accounts.

And that's it –– you and your friend should be all set to make plans together for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  After that, you'll need to repeat those steps above for each Guest that you need to link (and each member of your party will also need to do this with the others in order for everyone to be connected). And if you and your friends won't be in the same location before it's time to start making your reservations, don't worry, I've got you covered there, too.  All you'll need to do is open your own linking code, take a screenshot, and send it to another member of your party.  From there, you'll be able to open up the My Disney Experience mobile app on another device and link your account with the same steps we discussed.

Once it's time to make your dining reservations and Individual Lightning Lane selections, remember that you'll have a little extra pixie dust coming your way as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest. That's because you'll be able to make your Walt Disney World advance dining reservations beginning 60 days from check-in for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 days), and you can make your Individual Lightning Lane selections for your party beginning at 7 AM each day –– pretty cool, huh?

Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Jennifer.  I hope this helped to answer your question, but please don't hesitate to visit us again if you need more information –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!

    Happy Planning,
    Amy
