    My husband & I are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter in Sept/Oct 09. We've alway stayed on 3rd floor. If we stay on the 1st or 2nd floor, will we hear people overhead walking, watching tv and showering? Traffic outside the door is not a problem.

    Hi Sharon - I love the Port Orleans French Quarter resort!  It's so charming and relaxing, yet still has that Disney magic!

    While I can't guarantee that your experience will be the same as ours, but when we were last there, our room on the first floor was very quiet.  We didn't hear any noise from the rooms above us at all. 

    Surprisingly, there was also very little noise outside the door.  I'm sure some of this had to do with our room location (building six, river view) but I do find it to be a quiet resort.
