My husband and I are staying at POR-RS the beginning of March. We have breakfast reservations at O'Hana at 9:25a. What is the best way to get to Polynesian from POR and how long should I plan for it to take us to get over there?

    Hey Amanda!

You have picked two of my favorites. My family loves staying at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside, which is especially beautiful in the spring. Combine that with an unforgettable Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana, and you're all set for a magical vacation!

Walt Disney World Resort Bus Service to and from the Theme Parks is complimentary and available to Guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside. To get to 'Ohana, I would suggest taking a bus to Magic Kingdom Park, and then taking the Resort Monorail to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, home to 'Ohana. (Note that transportation on the Walt Disney World Resort Monorail System is also complimentary - hooray!)

In terms of travel time, once you depart Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside for Magic Kingdom Park, the bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Buses run every 20 minutes or so. Because you have to allow around 10 minutes for your trip on the Resort Monorail (plus time for walking and waiting), I would budget 60-70 minutes for your total travel time.

Alternatively, you could take a taxi straight to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and I would allow 30 minutes for this option. Either way, you will get to 'Ohana in plenty of time to dine with Stitch!

    Wishing you a magical visit!
