My husband and I will be staying at the PO-Riverside for 2 weeks in January '13. Since we will have plenty of time to do some extra activities, can you recommend some tours, etc that we could do while we are there?

Hi Lisa! Walt Disney World is full of great activities beyond the parks and I'm sure you will find lots of things to enjoy.

There are many tours to choose from. If you have always been curious about how everything works to perfection sign up for the Keys to the Kingdom tour. This will include spending time in the utilidors under the Magic Kingdom. Another favorite of mine is the Wild Africa Trek in the Animal Kingdom. This gets you up close to many of the animals with your own safari experience. Lunch or breakfast is served while surrounded by animals. A little more adventurous but also fun is one of the Segway tours. Honestly they aren't hard to master and a very unique experience.

we have enjoyed the fishing excursions and you might want to book a fireworks cruise one evening or the Magic Kingdom dessert party. There is also golf, mini golf, spa, horseback riding, and shopping! Your husband might not agree on the last one but you can try!

Oh and I just remembered the Dolphins in Depth tour in Epcot....you don't have to swim to do this but you will get in the water to touch them. And the behind the scenes Animal Kingdom tour is fascinating. Lunch with an Imagineer at Hollywood Studios is yet another option. As you can see the world is at your finger tips at Walt Disney World!
