My husband and I are staying at the Hilton WDW (downtown disney) 5/9-16. Would it make sense to walk to dt disney to use the disney transport system vs. the buses Hilton uses? Are you aware of the differences in drop off points and times?

    Hi, Ashley!

Stick with the buses from your resort.   One reason is that the walk to Downtown Disney from the Hilton is a bit longer than it looks and cars are zooming all over the place, so for safety, do not do it.  Also, the buses at Downtown Disney do not go to theme parks, so unless you plan to go to Disney Resort first, this would really add to your transportation times.

The last time I stayed at a Downtown Disney Resort, buses ran every 30 minutes, but you will want to check with the front desk to confirm exact times and bus locations.  The Hilton is a lovely resort and I am sure you will enjoy your stay.  Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
