Hi, My husband and I are staying at a Fort Wilderness Cabin the same time my daughter and her family are staying at the Grand Floridian, can we swim together at each others pools? Special Thanks!

    Hi Jill,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow NJ Disney fan!

It's always so much fun when families can vacation together at Walt Disney World, and I'm sure that you all will enjoy a magical stay.

The general policy is that Guests may only use the pools located at the Resort in which the Guests are staying, so pool hopping is not permitted between Walt Disney World Resort hotels. There are a few exceptions where the Resorts are related. For example, Guests at one of Disney's All-Star Resorts can pool hop among the All-Star Resorts hotel pools, and Guests staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts can enjoy the pools at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Pool-hopping (also called Complimentary Alternative Pool Use) is permitted for Disney Vacation Club Members among some Disney Vacation Club Resorts. Pool swimming aside, I think you'll find a lot of experiences for you and your family to share together at your Resorts. You could take in the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort where you're staying, or head over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to listen to the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra outside Mizner's Lounge. Both Resorts are wonderful and will offer lots of magic for your family to enjoy together.

Here's wishing you a fantastic Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
