Hiya Danielle - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm so glad that you found us and have stopped by with a question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line holidays!
I'm so excited to hEAR about your upcoming adventure. I recently returned from a cruise on the Disney Dream - it was an amazing experience! Adding on a week at Walt Disney World Resort before your cruise is such a great idea. You'll be visiting during the
Walt Disney World Resort 50th Anniversary Celebration, full of exciting new attractions, entertainment, food, and so much more!
While testing options are constantly changing, I can tell you that there are many options available in the Orlando area near Walt Disney World Resort. Inspire Diagnostics (the operator of Disney Cruise Line's Safe Passage website) has an official testing option located near the Orlando International Airport, or you may select an independent local testing provider and then upload your negative test results. You can find all the information you'll need on
the Know Before You Go page from Disney Cruise Line.Based on my own recent trip to the Orlando area, there are
many options for testing that are closer to Walt Disney World Resort, so you don't have to head back toward the airport. If you don't have a vehicle, you can easily use a ride-sharing service like Lyft to get to and from your pre-cruise test at the provider you select!
I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for this exciting holiday!
Please let me know if any other questions arise as you continue planning.
