My husband and I are staying at the Disneyland Hotel at the end of January. We are celebrating our 9th anniversary and I would like to surprise him with a red velvet cake (our wedding cake). Where should I go to set that up?

    Hi there, William!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your fantastic question, and congratulations on your special anniversary!

A stay at the iconic Disneyland Hotel is the perfect way to celebrate any occasion. You will just love the nostalgic yet modern decor of this hotel. Make sure you take some time to appreciate the details located in the lobbies of each tower with all the classic reminders of Disneyland's past. This hotel also offers such great dining options. I suggest stopping by Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar for some appetizers and refreshing beverages in a totally unique setting that almost makes you feel like you're already inside a theme park. For a more sophisticated meal, I suggest Steakhouse 55 located in this hotel. The truffle mac and cheese with lobster here is one of the best dishes I have ever had on Disneyland Resort property. If you decide to lounge at the pool, you can also stop by The Coffee House to pick up a tropical Dole Whip for a perfect light treat.

Adding a Celebration Cake to an existing Table Service Reservation or your hotel room is the perfect way to sprinkle a little more pixie dust on an already magical vacation. You can call Disneyland Dining at (714) 781-3463 to order custom cakes from 3-60 days before your visit. You can choose from a variety of flavors and designs over the phone. We recently ordered a churro-flavored cake decorated with a Haunted Mansion theme, and it was something I will never forget! Not only did it look too good to eat, the cake was moist and delicious. The leftovers were also perfect for breakfast the next morning in our hotel room.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Fantasmic day!
