Hiya, Megan! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and sharing your question with us.
It looks like you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World in less than a week. How exciting! You’ll be enjoying all the magic of the Vacation Kingdom of the World in no time at all, so let’s get you the directions you need.
First, make sure you’ve downloaded the
My Disney Experience mobile app, if you haven’t already. Along with allowing you to make reservations and manage your tickets, the app also provides step-by-step directions and estimated travel times to most Walt Disney World locations.
Estimated travel times will vary based on the date and time you’re headed to Disney Springs. At the time I’m writing this, the My Disney Experience app is estimating a 45-minute bus journey between Coronado Springs Resort and Disney Springs. Buses generally arrive every 20 minutes, so if you happen to get to the bus stop just as a bus arrives, then your travel time will likely be shorter than the estimate.
If you need a quicker, more direct travel option, then I’d suggest booking a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app. Like any ride-share app, times will vary based on driver availability and proximity, but Minnie Vans are generally faster than taking the bus. And while it isn’t a complementary service, I’ve often found they are worth the cost if you’re worried about making it to reservations on time.
I’ve stayed at Coronado Springs Resort a few times, and it’s a fantastic moderate resort. If you and your husband are looking for a great dining experience, I’d highly recommend
Toledo, which is located at the top of the Gran Destino Tower. Along with a delicious menu (the Brussel sprouts are amazing), it also offers great views of Walt Disney World Resort.
Best of luck with your Walt Disney World travels, Megan. Come right back to planDisney if you have more questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
