My husband and I will be staying at the Beach Club Resort May 9-14. What will the crowd levels be like this time of year? If they are low, do you recommend taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hours? Some people say avoid the EMH when crowd levels are high.

    Hi Cathy,

You are in for a real treat!  Disney's Beach Club Resort is magnificent.  I just stayed there with my family last month and I discovered there is a warmth and charm about this resort that can't be found anywhere else.  Being just minutes from Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios is an extra bonus.

I think you'll find the crowds during the second week of May quite reasonable.  This week is comfortably past spring break and before the end of the school year for most children nationwide.  My sister has visited at this time on several occasions and she always comes back to tell me how short the lines were for attractions.  She is a huge fan of visiting at this time of year.

Extra Magic Hours are great!  In mid-May I think you'll find that you can enjoy Extra Magic Hours without running into unusually large crowds.

    Have a ball next month!
