    My husband & I are staying at AKL 8/26-9/1. When I made my reservation I requested a king bed with a view of the flamingo pond. Should I also call the resort directly to make my requests? If so, is it too early to call now?

    While you did include the request already, it certainly doesn't hurt to follow up with a reminder prior to arrival. Room requests can be made by calling the Animal Kingdom Lodge at 407-938-3000.  You'll want to call 4-10 days prior to your arrival.  When you call, ask for the "back office" or "room assignment department."  Please keep in mind there are no guarantees for requests.
