Hi Barbara and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's always lovely to be able to answer a question from a fellow Brit!
My husband and I actually spent our Honeymoon at the Walt Disney World Resort last year and had a wonderful time. Be sure to pick up some complimentary "Happily Ever After"
Celebration Recognition Buttons (or badges to you and me) when you check-in at your Disney Resort hotel or upon entering the first Disney Theme Park that you visit, to wear throughout your stay.
I do not think that it would be strange at all if you and your husband decided to attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your visit. I have attended this Special Event with both my family and a group of friends in the past and can honestly say that you would not feel out of place at all.
Whilst the dates that this Special Event will be taking place in 2016 were announced on the Disney Parks Blog back on 23 March 2016, the post stated that readers should stay tuned to the Walt Disney World website and the Disney Parks Blog for updates on ticket prices, on-sale dates, entertainment and events.
However, at this moment in time, it is still not possible to purchase tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
I would definitely recommend that you subscribe to the
Disney Parks Blog in the meantime as this is the place where further information is most likely to be announced.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
