My husband and I want to start planning our Disney World Vacation . We want to go early November 2025 . We heard that was a good time to go not as busy and christmas decorations are already up. We gave no idea where to start or how to plan ????

Kerry, I am so happy you found planDisney and that you are trusting my friends and me to help you start planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can seem daunting, but if you break it down and research certain things, like Disney Resorts Collection hotels, Theme Park Tickets, Dining, and day-to-day planning, you can chip away little by little and plan the most magical vacation, I assure you!

I would start by researching the Disney Resort Collection hotel options. With over 35 resorts to choose from, there is going to be one that fits your budget and vacation style. If I were to recommend one hotel for each category, Value, Moderate, and Deluxe, I would recommend Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. While all Disney resorts offer complimentary transportation, these resorts are either a stop on the Disney Skyliner or the monorail, making them very convenient.

After finding a place to call home, you must choose your Theme Park Tickets. With this, you will need to decide on how many days you would like to visit the parks, whether you’d like to see one park per day or the flexibility to hop from one park to another, and if you’d like to include a trip to one of the two Water Parks during your stay. As you know, Disney World has four theme parks and two water parks. In my opinion, I would spend at least one day at each theme park, so buying a minimum 4-Day Park ticket. Coincidently, Disney’s Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page currently offers a 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, but it is only valid until late September. Keep your eyes on this page; you never know if the deal will get extended to fit your ideal vacation timeline!

Once you have made these two main decisions, you will want to start researching things like Disney Genie Service and the various dining options. As I am sure this will raise some more questions, I suggest starting with choosing your resort and ticket types and then coming back to planDisney with follow-up questions. My planDisney friends and I would love to continue this planning process with you, so submit another question

    See you real soon!
