Can my husband and I use the Standard Dining Plan to get the Chef's Signature Dinner for Two at Toledo? If so, how many credits would it use? Do we have to choose between the steak or the paella, or do we get both?

Welcome to planDisney, Jessica! I'm so happy to answer your question today, especially because Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is high on my list of restaurants I want...nay, need...to try!

The entirety of the Gran Destino Tower at this resort is just stunning. From the architecture to the details to the history of what inspired it all, it's just so elegant. Did you know this tower draws inspiration from Destino, a very creative short film that's a collaboration between Walt Disney and artist Salvador Dalí? The combination of Dalí’s dreamlike visuals and Disney’s storytelling magic is echoed beautifully in the tower’s design. Every detail, from the mahogany tones used throughout the decor to the intricate patterns in the lobby, speaks to this unique inspiration. And to top it all off, literally, there's this jaw-droppingly (is that even a word?) beautiful rooftop restaurant that uses one of my favorite dining styles: tapas. I can't wait for you to experience it and then report back!

While offerings on the Disney Dining Plan can and do change, I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member that the Chef's Signature Dinner for Two is not currently included in the Disney Dining Plan. However, when you are seated, you are more than welcome to ask your server if anything has changed. But for planning purposes, I would plan on ordering from some of the other delicious options on the menu, and your server will happily inform you what is included in your dining plan.

If you are staying at this beautiful tower, be sure to venture outside to Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago. Talk about a beautiful location and setting for some shared plates and scrumptious drink options. And I don't know about you, but that White Queso Dip that's currently on the menu has my name all over it. And the Chicken Mole. And the Warm Churros. And the Sangria Flight. Okay, I'll stop now. Mostly because I could go on and on about my love for this location (could you tell?). Oh, and if you love tropical flavors, keep an eye out for a cocktail, entrée, or dessert with pineapple because it’s bound to be a refreshing treat.

Jessica, enjoy your visit, and be sure to take a moment to watch Destino before your trip. It’s a fascinating piece of Disney history that truly brings the magic of the Gran Destino Tower to life.

Reach out again with any other questions.

May your visit be as dazzling as Dalí’s dreams and as mesmerizing as Disney’s magic,
    Matt
