    Hello! My husband & I want to take our son (turns 1 in Jan.) to WDW for his 1st time, but are wondering what would be a better year: 2011 or 2012? We'd like to see the new MK additions, but if there's less of a crowd in '11 do you think it would be bet

    Hi, BreAnna! Thanks for visiting me on the Disney Moms Panel and happy birthday to your little prince! Hasn't his first year flown by? Buckle up...they go by even faster as they grow older!

    My first son (now 16) came for his first visit when he was only two years old, and we regret not bringing him before then. I understand your dilemma. You want to see the new Fantasyland expansion when it's scheduled to be complete in 2012. However, if it were me, I would go ahead and bring him in 2011. There is so much to see and do with that little pumpkin, and you can always plan a return trip!

    Plus, you just never know what personal circumstances may change in the years to come. Throughout our 20 years of marriage and over 16 years of parenting, my husband and I have regretted some purchases. Yet, we've never regretted the investments we've made in family memories and experiences on vacation.
