My husband and son both suffer from extremely low vision. How can I make sure they are able to see the dance at our dinner at 1900 Park Fare? The reservation line would not reserve a table (party of 6) in the ball room. Thanks, Lora

Hi, Lora! My husband is legally blind, and Walt Disney World cast members have been nothing but pleasant and accommodating to help ensure each of our visits is as magical for him as it is for the rest of the family.

While they cannot guarantee you a table in the main ballroom area, note on your reservation that you are traveling with two guests that have a visual disability and you prefer to be as close to the dance floor as they can seat you.  They can make the note on your reservation, which still does not guarantee the table of your choice, but it may help.

When you check in, remind the cast member at the podium that your husband and son have visual difficulties, and you would prefer a table closer to the dance floor so that they can enjoy the dance.  If it is possible, they will accommodate you.  You may have to wait for a table a little longer, but they really do try to make it work.

If a table next to the dance floor does not become available, you can always just have your husband and son move into the ballroom to watch the dance.  I have seen people on previous visits standing to watch, and they would not be out of place doing so.

I hope it works out and you get the perfect table!
