Hello, Christine,
"
Oh, bother." That is a predicament of concern. I get it though. Before the
reopening of the Disneyland Resort, it was quite straightforward to simply arrive at the theme parks, purchase admission, and proceed with a day of fun. Now, each Guest who visits the Disneyland Resort must have a
theme park reservation to enter the theme parks. Because the number of reservations is limited, they may occasionally run out.
At this point, there are two options to consider if travel dates are not flexible. First, you could continue to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar for openings that may come up. When other Guests have things come up, they may cancel their reservations, making them available to you. Another option is to make your visit even more magical by booking a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Guests of the on-site hotels have access to
theme park reservations exclusively for them. To access those reservations, visit the "
My Hotel Reservations" page to book park reservations as well.
Tony’s Tip: A lesser-known feature of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is that virtually all of the
benefits afforded to hotel Guests may be accessed on both the check-in day and the check-out day. That includes more obvious things like accessing the pools. And it also includes less-obvious things like
early entry. That’s right. Even before your room is ready on check-in day, you can take advantage of early entry to a theme park you have reserved. So even a one-night stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel will multiply the Magic of a visit to the Disneyland Resort across two days!
